Alumni Association of the Karachi Grammar School (KGS) was founded in 1984 with a modest base of 50 members.

Aims of the society was primarily to maintain close contact with the Alma Mater KGS

• To take and sustain active interest in the welfare of KGS
• To organize former students of KGS and promote goodwill, co-operation and friendship amongst them
• To help support members of teaching staff, administrative staff and domestic staff of KGS
• First recipient of such OGS support was Mr. J. L. Papworth in 1984 (support continued until his death)

OGS’ objectives have expanded over the past two decades to include:

• Need Based Financial Assistance to students for completion of their education at KGS, or any other school including higher educational institutions such as Business Schools Medical Colleges, Engineering Colleges in Pakistan
• Active collaboration with the KGS in its development, expansion and improvement, including fund-raising activities
